About Us
Son Grúa is a luxury agritourism located in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana, in an estate of 267 ha with oak and pine forests, carob trees, olive trees, fruit trees, orchard and sheep. The house is surrounded by a magnificent centenary garden of 12.000 m2.
The farmhouse has 13 double rooms. For the exclusive use of the guests, Son Grúa has four lounges and a porch by the swimming pool. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The gastronomy is mainly Mediterranean.
The interior blends the character of the Mallorcan “possesio” with the comfort of modern furnishings. In the last century, Son Grúa was a meeting place for artists such as Anglada Camarasa. The paintings in the different rooms are reminiscent of that time.
The luxury is to enjoy an estate, the space and the silence, it is to feel unique and special thanks to the personalized services.

Attractions
HIKING
Son Grúa is one of the best located accommodations for walking some sections of the GR 221 route that runs through the Sierra de Tramuntana between the towns of Andratx and Pollença, as one of the stages passes in front of the entrance to the agrotourism.
From Son Grúa you can go on numerous excursions with different degrees of difficulty, among others we can highlight:
- Climb to Fartaritx or Puig Tomir
- Path from Son Grúa to Pollença
- Path from Son Grúa to Lluc
- Path to Coll de Ariant

CYCLING
Son Grúa is located on the Ma-10 road, where several cycling routes pass through the Sierra de Tramuntana and from where you can access emblematic stages such as the climbs to Puig Mayor, Sa Calobra or Cabo Formentor.
We have five routes prepared for our clients with departure and arrival at Son Grúa:
- Son Grúa -Alcudia-Puerto Pollença - Cabo Formentor - Son Grúa (73 kms)
- Son Grúa - Lluc - Moscari - Campanet - Son Grúa (53 km)
- Son Grúa - Puig Major - Coll de Soller - Santa María - Sa Pobla - Son Grúa (125 kms)
- Son Grúa - Formentor - Alcudia - Buger - Caimari - Coll de sa Batalla - Son Grúa (123 kms)
- Son Grúa - Mirador de Sa Llagonissa - Lluc - Son Grúa (35 kms) for MTB
We have a closed area to park the bicycles where you will find the tools to do most of the repairs, a tire pump and plugs to charge the batteries of the ebikes.
We can arrange bicycle rentals with delivery and collection in Son Grúa.
SAILING AND DIVING
We organize private or group excursions around the Bay of Pollença in typical Mallorcan boats such as the "llaut" or in motor or sailing boats.
For diving enthusiasts we can book trips from Puerto de Pollença with a specialized company.
